The tester uses the browser's native RegExp implementation, so the syntax and flags match JavaScript in modern browsers.

Useful flags

• g finds every match instead of stopping after the first.
• i ignores letter case.
• m treats each line as a separate line for ^ and $.
• s lets . include line breaks.
